April 11, 2019 (Toronto, ON) – Last night, renowned Toronto-photographer, Caitlin Cronenberg, celebrated the launch of her HEAT collection at Taglialatella Galleries in Yorkville with a secret pop-up exhibition and party showcasing an exclusive series of her fine art photography celebrity portraits and fashion editorial images. The select guest list of art collectors, art enthusiasts and Toronto’s “it” crowd at the by-invitation-only VIP opening party enjoyed Peroni beer, Perrier Jouet champagne and FIJI Water in a speak-easy styled and funky retro lounge set up, and were surprised with an unexpected and special live performance by alternative folk/pop singer-songwriter Andrea Ramolo’s soulful homage.
HEAT features portraits of some of the hottest actors in Hollywood including Robert Pattinson and Michael Fassbender, as well as top model Hailey Clauson. Many of the images, which originally appeared in publications such as L’Uomo Vogue and Man Of The World, go back to and tribute Cronenberg’s early goth-inspired aesthetic, and love of all things dark and edgy. The collection is bold, raw and sexy, with layers of colour, light and texture, leaving viewers with heated emotions and unanswered questions of what happened before, during and after–that moment.
HEAT by Caitlin Cronenberg, offers a curated selection of limited-edition pop art and vintage-inspired photography for purchase with prices ranging from $1,500 to $4,000 CAD. HEAT will exhibit at Taglialatella Galleries – Toronto, from April 11th through April 16th, 2019.
